- Lisa Campbell Meadows
- Lisa Meadows, and husband Robby and their band, are special friends who "belt out" great songs in Nashville / Branson stage show style; that's why Lisa has opened for Kenny Chesney, Neil McCoy; Sammy Kershaw and others and been a backup singer for singer / TV / movie stars John Schneider and Ben "Cooter" Jones (as a part of Cooter's Garage Band). Lisa also appears on Lynn Beckman's "SOMETHING Old..New..Borrowed..Blue" CD singing her great rendition of 'HIS PROMISE TO ME' that Lynn wrote. The song has been released overseas and debuted on the 2006 New Christian Music Christmas Charts as a TOP 10 song. Lynn Beckman has also worked stage shows with the band. Lisa and Lynn have recorded a duet, a special song about a child. The song is entitled, "A SONG FOR SARAH," written by German country artist Hermann Lammers Meyer. It was released on Desert Kid Records in Europe in early 2006. Plans are for its release in the USA in 2008. Watch for it. There is emotional Christian sincerity in Lisa's voice when she takes hold of a spiritual or Gospel tune---and she loves performing and delivers on every song, every genre, she sings. When you are in the historic and scenic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, around the Skyline Drive, Luray and Harrisonburg areas, you must see their show. Also watch for them at annual Duke-Fests and on the road from VA to TN and beyond. Satisfaction is guaranteed. And, if you have a chance to visit the annual Dukes Fest or to see the Ben 'Cooter' Jones Show on the road (yes, 'Cooter' from the famous 'Dukes of Hazzard' TV show) then you'll see why Lisa and this band are "pinning the ears back" of country and Gospel fans everywhere they appear. Visit Lisa's My Space website, listen to her music, and be sure to send her a nice greeting.
- Midnite Jamboree / Ernest Tubb Record Shop & Theatre
- Lynn Beckman has worked the world famous Midnite Jamboree over WSM Radio in Nashville. The show originates in The Texas Troubadour Theatre in the Ernest Tubb Record Shop complex on Music Valley Drive (across the street from the Opryland Hotel and around the corner from the Grand Ole Opry House). The show is broadcast (WSM Radio, Nashville--650 on the AM dial) immediately following the Saturday night Grand Ole Opry and features many of the Opry stars along which special guests---like Lynn Beckman. Lynn worked the show at various times with the late legendary Opry star Billy Walker and The Tennessee Walker Band. The show is archived for replay on the internet, but it is broadcast live beginning at midnight (Nashville Time-- 1 a.m. eastern time) over WSM and also live on the internet. The link above will put you in a better-than-front row seat for this great and historic show... one of the oldest continuous live country music radio shows in the world. A special treat each week is a musical selection played from the original recordings of the master country artist of all time---Jimmy Rogers, the Singing Brakeman. When you visit the Ernest Tubb Record Shop website, make sure you check out the Lynn Beckman link and the full list of other stars who are also linked.
- Hermann Lammers Meyer
- Hermann Lammers Meyer is one of Germany's top 15 most played country music artists, and he continues to be one of the most traveled and awarded acts in his homeland where he tours with his popular Emsland Hillbillies Band. His music is heard around the world, and he has recorded duets and trios with some of the biggest stars in the business including Willie Nelson, Billy Walker, Johnny Bush, Norma Jean, etc. He and Lynn Beckman have a duet released in Germany / Europe and the U.S. called, 'HARD TO HANDLE EASY TO LOVE.' In Germany the song is on DESERT KID RECORDS. In the U.S. it has been released on SWANTON RECORDS. Hermann is working on a new CD project to be released in the near future---and he is recording, again, in the U.S.A. on a visit to Austin, TX and Nashville, TN.
- Ronnie Reno
- Ronnie Reno and The Reno Tradition travels the country keeping the legendary bluegrass Reno tradition alive and well. Lynn Beckman has worked various shows with these guys. Ronnie's father, now deceased, was banjo legend Don Reno (Reno & Smiley and The Tennessee Cut-Ups). Pick up on Ronnie's great career (as a member of the Osborne Brothers' band for 5 years and as a member of the Strangers, Merle Haggard's band for 9 years) and his new career in television with Reno's Old Time Music Festival on BlueHighways TV. Check Ronnie's road dates, too. He still travels a lot.
- Billy Walker, Grand Ole Opry Legend
- It is with many fond memories that we reflect on the life and career of "The Tall Texan," Billy Walker, his wife Bettie, and two members of The Tennessee Walker Band, Danny Patton (lead guitarist) and Charlie Lilly (bass guitarist). All four were killed in a tragic road accident near Ft. Deposit, Alabama (just south of Montgomery) early Sunday morning, May 21, 2006, on their way home from a show near Gulf Shores, Alabama. All of them were special friends.... we miss them and cherish the hope and promises of that great reunion day when we shall join together to sing and play Heavenly Harmonies in that land where there is no sorrow and no death or pain.
Lynn Beckman made many appearances with Billy Walker and The Tennessee Walker Band including the world famous WSM Radio Midnite Jamboree from the Ernest Tubb Record Shop's Texas Troubadour Theatre in Nashville, TN. See the photo gallery for pictures. Read all about Billy's extraordinary career on his website. His accomplishments not only include his long-standing membership with The Grand Ole Opry, but his career includes years of an outstanding nationally syndicated TV show, his connections to other super-stars like Elvis Presley, Red Foley, and many others, and no less than 30 number 1 country hit records and somewhere around 100 charted songs. His latest Gospel album, "Back On The Mountain Again" contains "For Me," a Gospel song written by Lynn Beckman that has gained recognition through NCM Records around the world---with feedback messages on how the song has touched lives and blessed hearts from as far away as southern Africa.
- In Memory Of Charlie Lilly and Danny Patton
- Debbi Rigdon has designed and maintains a wonderful website she developed in memory of Charlie Lilly (Lilly Pad Music) and Danny Patton both who were band members in Billy Walker's Tennessee Walker Band and who died in a tragic vehicle accident on May 21, 2005. Many pictures are posted along with other remembrances and mementos. There are special mementos for sale with the proceeds to go directly to the Lilly Family. Some of the pictures posted were provided from the Lynn Beckman archive of show photos on the road with Billy, Danny and Charlie.
- THE DUFFIELD TRIO
- Most often The Duffield Trios' voices are the ones heard singing great harmony backups on Lynn Beckman's recordings (not to mention Jeff Duffield's great piano / keyboards and orchestrations on Lynn's CDs), but that's not all the Duffield Trio can do... they make great Gospel music wherever they go and are exceptional musical talents and ministers in song.
Jeff and Sue Duffield and Wendi Watson Miller have been singing as the "Duffields," since early 1994. Their immediate claim and instant rapport with audiences across the country came simply because of their love for close-knit harmonies and creative arrangements. Their mix of Gospel music and genres has made them appealing to a wide array of audiences across the country. "Refreshing..", is just one comment overheard at a recent Raymond James National Conference Prayer Breakfast. Leading worship for the Prison Fellowship Ministry Briefings with Chuck Colson has also given this 'not-so-mainstream' trio a quick journey to becoming a household name.
More recently, they were the opening act for the GAITHER HOMECOMING in the Meadowlands, NJ, and also were featured at the General Council of the Assemblies of God Convention in Washington, DC. Check their website. Order their music. Book them in your community !
- Barbara Fairchild & Roy Morris
- Barbara and Roy along with their wonderful road managers and assistants, Barb and Ron Williams, are very cherished friends in the business and in the faith. So much so that they have been guests in the Beckmans' home, church and community. Barbara and Roy have years of history with the popular theatres of Branson, MO, where Barbara first went to work with the Mel Tillis Theatre Show. Later she started her own shows there and even held Sunday church in a theatre... the first and only one at the time in Branson. She has appeared on many television shows, the Grand Ole Opry, and countless other venues around the world including USO shows for the troops. Barbara's signature song, "The Teddy Bear Song," is a golden country and pop evergreen classic--no less than a celebrated part of musical history around the world. Lately, Barbara has been recording Gospel trio albums with Connie Smith and Sharon White. Roy has CDs on the market also...and He and Barbara have several duet albums. When this duo come your way, you must catch their show. It is Branson style---and better than 'good' !!!
